GOOD morning! The Bank of Canada announced a rate cut this morning.. .25%. That means that variable-rate mortgage holders will keep about $14 per $100,000 of mortgage money in their pockets. Line of credit interest rates will also drop by .25%. The next Bank of Canada announcement about the overnight interest rate will be on October 29, 2025.
