Born and raised in Kelowna, I became a licensed mortgage broker in 2005 and began working with Dominion Lending shortly thereafter. Each Dominion office is independently owned and operated and in 2015 I joined DLC BlueTree Mortgages in downtown Kelowna, where in 2018 became partner along side 3 o

f the best! Most people would tell you that I love my job. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But I really, really do! I'm one of those fortunate people who found/ stumbled into their dream job. BC tenancy act makes a quick change on recent rule changes!

On July 18, 2024, the Government of British Columbia enacted regulations to the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) requiring landlords and homebuyers to give tenants four months’ notice instead of two months when evicting for personal or caretaker use. In response to CMBA-BC's advocacy efforts, which included a meeting with senior representatives at the BC Ministry of Housing, the Government of British Columbia has agreed to amend these regulations.

When rates were low clients went into multiple offers, without even so much as a home inspection and often paid over $100,000 more for a house. Rates are higher now for sure, but having time to make the right decision in buying a home, at a comfortable price has its value as well.
