From one of our advisors, —— I recently visited a client’s farm, and it made me reflect on how life comes full circle.
We gathered around their kitchen table—talking about their new barn, livestock additions, and dreams for future growth. It brought me back to being 10 years old, sitting at my family’s kitchen table, listening to my parents plan with their financial and insurance advisors—dreaming aloud and figuring out how to protect everything they were building.
Later, walking their property and meeting lambs born just hours earlier, I felt more than just the joy of the moment. I felt deep gratitude and nostalgia for what I get to do:
👉 Being part of someone’s dream
👉 Understanding the pride, risk, and responsibility that come with ownership
👉 Witnessing families nurture not only businesses but also legacies
These are the moments that remind me—it’s never just about financials. It’s about passion, late nights, risks taken, and hopes carried forward for generations.
This is where I find true alignment: combining strategy, empathy, and experience to support those building something that lasts.
I think my 10-year-old self would be proud of the path we’ve taken.
And yes… I still wear a skirt with my “barn boots”!
