I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… and that’s because I’ve been busy doing what I’m most passionate about — meeting with individuals and families, having real conversations, and helping people truly understand their coverage.

So many people don’t realize the gaps until it’s too late… and being able to educate and support others in protecting their income and their future is something I care deeply about ❤️

💔Some days in this industry are harder than others… and today is one of those days. 💔

As a Living Benefits Specialist, I reach out to people every single day to offer information - not to “sell”, but to educate and create awareness.

And the truth is… I hear more no’s than yes’s.

Most people don’t want to talk about illness, cancer, accidents, or time off work… until it happens to them.

And the heartbreaking part is that the people who finally reach out are often the ones who now actively need coverage, but their diagnosis has already changed what they qualify for.

It leaves me feeling so helpless… because I would give anything to have spoken with them before life took that turn.

Please don’t wait until it’s too late.

Have the conversation now. Ask the questions now. Protect your family while you still can.

Because none of us ever expect to be “that person”… until we are. ❤️

They were responsible people. Worked hard. Paid their bills. Had money set aside “just in case.”

Then life happened.

An unexpected illness turned into weeks off work… then months.
And the scary part wasn’t the diagnosis.

It was watching the savings disappear faster than they ever imagined:

🛒 groceries

🛣️ travel for appointments
❗️every day life still rolling on

They didn’t lose everything overnight…

💔My heart is heavy today thinking of Tumbler Ridge.

Sending my deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones, and prayers for healing for those who are injured. My thoughts are also with the students, first responders, and every community member impacted by this tragedy.

My heart goes out to everyone who has fought this battle - and to every family who walked beside someone they love through it. ❤️

I’ve watched cancer affect family and friends - not only physically, but financially too. The stress of lost income, travel, and bills can be just as overwhelming as the diagnosis itself.

That’s why I believe in protecting your future, so if life takes a turn… your focus can be on healing, not money.
