Motherhood truly is a lifetime policy. filled with investments of love, discipline, sacrifice, prayers, and lessons that compound over time. Some returns come quickly, while others arrive years later in the form of wisdom from your own children. 😊. As I greet every mother a Happy Mother’s Day, I want to share some of the highlights conversing I had with my three kids during “Mommy Time.” ❤️
Conversation with Josh
Me: Remember, when emotions and childish actions take over, be careful not to do anything foolish.
Josh: I am so blessed that you are my mom. You are scary, stern but reasonably chill. 😅
Lesson: This may sound like just one line to others, but it came from a deep 2 hour conversation filled with fights, reasoning, emotions, and appreciation.

Conversation with Justine
Me: Sometimes life is unfair, Justine.
Justine: Stay grateful.
Me: Why do people sometimes accuse others wrongly?
Justine: Still be grateful that you are not the one accusing wrongly.
Me: Don’t you think that life is unfair?
Justine: Still be grateful that life is unfair. Because if life were completely fair, all of us would have been nailed to the cross already.
Me: Mouth zipped. Head bowed. Slowly walking away…and said
Thank you, Justine.” 🥹
Lesson: Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
At this point, it feels more like:
Train up a child… and when they grow older, they will start training their mom too.” 😂❤️

Conversation with Jacey during a family gathering
Me: Happy. Laughing. Jumping around. Simply delightful.
Jacey: Arms folded, looking at her dad seriously.
Why did you marry her? 🤣

Three kids. Same mom. Completely different views in life.
But one thing I can humbly say:
I PRAISE GOD FOR MY THREE KIDS. ❤️
I will continue to be who I am, nurturing you, guiding you, loving you, and hoping that one day, when I grow older, you will nurture me too. 😊
You are always making me happy no matter what..
