This Movember, I’m sharing my Dad's story ~ and why it matters now more than ever.

In the fall of 2011, my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I’ll never forget the family meeting at my parents’ house where he shared the news. In January 2012, he had surgery—and, thankfully, he’s been cancer-free ever since.

But what if things had been different? What if he couldn't work for almost six months? Or a year? How would him and my Mom have managed if his company hadn’t kept paying his full salary? The truth is, most people this isn’t the situation and they can’t afford that kind of financial hit.

This is why Critical Illness Insurance matters. It gives you the financial protection to focus on healing, not bills. If the main income earner or caregiver in your family suddenly couldn’t work, could you handle the stress of that situation? It’s a question worth asking.

This Movember, Shawn McEachern and I are doing something about it. For every Critical Illness Insurance application we submit this month, we’re donating to Movember in honor of my Dad. It’s a way to give back, raise awareness, and ensure that more families are protected from financial hardship during life’s hardest moments.

Join us in supporting men’s health and prostate cancer research. Your donation can make a real difference—and it might just give someone peace of mind for the future. Let’s make this Movember count.

Did you know September is Life Insurance Awareness Month?

This is my 10th year in the financial industry helping families properly protect themselves. Here are a few of the most common misconceptions about Life Insurance.

āļøLife insurance is too expensive
āļøYou have to be very heathy to get any sort of coverage approved
āļøYour life insurance coverage through work is enough
āļøYou only need life insurance to cover funeral costs and final expenses
āļøYou need the same amount of life insurance coverage as your spouse

If you have any questions or are curious about coverage, send me a DM ✨
