Who we are: This page is managed by the AMA Insurance Communications Team on behalf of A.M.A. and the Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (together AMA Insurance). We have a host of experts on call to help respond to your comments and questions. Why we’re here: The purpose of this page is to have fun by sharing interesting and helpful information and having conversations on topics of interest to our policyholders and those who may be considering using AMA Insurance as their insurance provider. We would love the opportunity to answer your general insurance questions. But please keep in mind that this site is not intended to be a private sales and customer service channel and we are not able to discuss customer matters online. To protect your privacy, please do not share any of your personal information on the site. If you do require assistance for your personal needs, we’ll be happy to find the right person to speak with you in private. Office hours: We’re dedicated, but we can’t work 24/7. We monitor and respond to messages during our regular office hours: 8 a.m. (MST) Monday to Friday. The rules: We’ve covered some of this already, but below are a few house rules we ask you to follow when you use or chat with others on this site.
1. Content must be relevant to AMA Insurance or the Alberta Motor Association (AMA). Posts that are off topic, derogatory or offensive will be deleted.
2. Be courteous to others when using this site. Comments deemed inappropriate, vulgar or offensive by AMA Insurance will be removed.
3. Solicitation of products and services not related to AMA will be removed.
4. If you post a comment about a specific issue regarding your policy or a claim we will make every attempt to contact you directly about your concern in an effort to resolve it.
5. Please do not share the personal information of yourself or anyone else on the site. Personal information may include membership, policy or claim numbers, claims information, address, phone number or payment details. To protect the privacy of our members, AMA reserves the right to delete such information from the site, and take the conversation offline to resolve any concerns.
6. To protect the privacy of our employees we will remove any posts that contain an individual employee's name. Concerns of this nature can and should be addressed offline.
