This is your friendly reminder about the Guaranteed Acceptance Critical Illness campaign currently available to ATA members, Teachers, Alberta School Board Employees, and their spouses.

More importantly, we’re asking for your help in sharing this opportunity with your staff and community before the campaign ends on May 31.

This truly is one of those opportunities that, for many people — especially anyone with pre-existing conditions — is a complete no-brainer.

There are no medical questions, no medical exams, and no complicated approval process. During this campaign period, eligible individuals can apply for up to $50,000 in Critical Illness coverage with guaranteed acceptance, plus additional coverage options for children.

And to be very clear — this is not a gimmick. It’s real coverage designed to provide real financial support during incredibly difficult moments in life.

If diagnosed with a covered condition such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke, the plan provides a tax-free lump sum payment that families can use however they need most.

One of the biggest things we hear after financial wellness sessions is: “Why didn’t I know about this sooner?”

That’s exactly why we’re hoping to spread awareness while this opportunity is still available. Please forward this to your community.

The deadline to apply is May 31, 2026, and unfortunately this offer cannot be extended.

Thank you again for your support and for helping us ensure people are aware of this rare opportunity while it’s available.

Capital Planning has proudly worked alongside Alberta’s education community over 40 years, and we’re reaching out because there is currently an important opportunity available for Alberta School Board Employees and ATA Members that we truly don’t want people to miss.

In this video, Rick shares a story about a teacher he knew who was diagnosed with breast cancer. During an already overwhelming time, having Critical Illness coverage in place helped provide financial breathing room so she could focus on her health and family instead of added financial stress.

Stories like this are exactly why we believe awareness around this campaign matters so much.

Right now, Alberta school board employees, teachers, ATA members, and their spouses can apply for up to **$50,000 in Critical Illness Insurance with guaranteed acceptance and no medical questions asked.** Coverage is also available for children.
And it ends May 31st - so only 11 days left to access this.

Some key features of the plan include:

✔ Tax-free lump sum payment if diagnosed
✔ Covers 25 conditions including cancer, heart attack, and stroke
✔ Funds can be used however needed — bills, treatment, income support, or recovery
✔ Coverage available for spouses and children
✔ Guaranteed acceptance during the campaign period

We would sincerely appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with your staff and community so people are aware while the campaign is active.

The campaign runs until May 31.

Should you want us to send along more information, additional graphics, or supporting materials, we’d be more than happy to do so.

Thank you again for your support and for everything you do for Alberta’s education community.

Warmly,
Capital Planning

Last night in Oil Country 🏒🔥

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Jesse Schewchuk, and Founder Randy Olson had the chance to take in the Oilers playoff action—and wow, the energy in that building was absolutely electric.

There’s something special about this city. The way the community shows up, rallies together, and pours its heart into every moment… it’s palpable.

While the outcome wasn’t the win we were all hoping for, the experience itself? Unmatched. Being part of a playoff night in Oil Country is something you don’t forget.

Here’s to the fans, the passion, and the unforgettable atmosphere. 💙🧡

Did you know…?

💵 Purchasing critical illness insurance is one of the most cost-effective things you will ever do to protect your savings.
