📌Whether you are going into work or working from home, the COVID-19 pandemic has probably changed the way you work. Fear and anxiety about this new disease and other strong emotions can be overwhelming, and workplace stress can lead to burnout.

It is important to recognize the symptoms of stress you may be experiencing.

Feeling irritation, anger, or in denial
Feeling uncertain, nervous, or anxious
Lacking motivation
Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or burned out
Feeling sad or depressed
Having trouble sleeping

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about a new disease and what could happen can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Public health actions, such as social distancing, can make people feel isolated and lonely and can increase stress and anxiety. However, these actions are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Coping with stress in a healthy way will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.

It’s OK to not be OK. If you are coping…or struggling, with the COVID-19 situation, know that you are not alone and that many other people are feeling exactly the same way as you.

👉If you’re feeling anxious, scared or even feeling detached like you’re watching this all unfold in a movie, you’re not alone. Each of us has our own reaction to the current situation and our own way to manage the stress and uncertainty that comes along with it.
