Happy Second Birthday to Novel Bookkeeping! 🎉
As part of getting ready to start my company, I looked at comparable organizations - including doing searches on social media. I was surprised to see a large number of accounts that were essentially inactive. No posts in YEARS. It made me nervous to think of how many bookkeepers hadn't "made it."
I now know that most of those people were likely so busy doing the work they didn't have time to update social media! 😂
Despite my lack of posting, the company is going strong. Over the past two years, Novel Bookkeeping has grown from one accidental monthly client and a handful of tax clients to twelve monthly, full-service clients plus more than a dozen tax clients.
At this milestone moment, I want to thank a few people who played a pivotal role in making this dream a reality.
~ CL - For helping me dream big, and for still standing beside me every step of the way.
~ WB - For asking me out on a not-coffee date, sharing their company's financial situation with me, then letting me try to help by becoming my first official client.
~ CR - For being a highly ethical employer, for trusting me with their clients, and for their generosity in letting me make them mine.
Now, back to work - and don't be surprised if I don't post again until next January! 😏
