Your contactless limits, explained.

Contactless is a quick way to pay with your Cepheus Pay Mastercard for everyday purchases.

These are the limits that apply:
•⁠ Up to €50 per single contactless payment
•⁠ ⁠Up to €150 in total contactless payments before a PIN is required
•⁠ ⁠Up to five contactless payments in a row without entering a PIN

A common question we get: Is there a maximum transaction amount?

There’s no fixed maximum transaction amount. Small payment or large one, you typically won’t run into a set cap on a single transaction.

However, larger transfers may be subject to additional verification or documentation requirements in line with compliance and security regulations.

At Cepheus Pay, pricing is transparent by design. Opening an account costs nothing, transfers between clients on the same package are free, and C-Pay Prime carries no monthly fee at all. Every charge is set out in your package document before you commit, so there is nothing to discover later.

Transaction fees depend on your package, which is matched to your residency or your company’s jurisdiction, the currencies you use, and the payment rails you need.

A common question we get: How will my Cepheus Pay physical Mastercard be delivered?

You can choose between two delivery options. By post, it is free of charge, estimated 2–3 weeks. By courier (DHL), 15 EUR plus applicable tax, estimated 5–7 working days, with tracking available once dispatched. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location.

Prefer not to wait? Virtual cards are issued instantly and, at present, there are no fees.

Your Cepheus Pay eMastercard can be ordered directly from your profile.

Physical and virtual Mastercards are available to individual Cepheus Pay clients.

How to order:
- Log in to your Cepheus Pay profile
- Open the "Cards" tab in the menu
- Confirm your phone number
- Add a virtual card or order a physical Mastercard (up to five in total)
- Confirm your delivery address
- Done

Don't have an account yet? You can open an account online, and the process can be completed remotely. Once your account is active, you can follow the same steps and order a card from the same profile.

Please note that Mastercards are available to individual clients only.
