Financed a used 2022 Caterpillar 325 BTE Hi-Rail Excavator with various attachments for a long-time client of ECC. ECC has been providing all their equipment financing since 2018, when they completed their first financing deal. Truly we are blessed to deal with such a great and easy going client.

This was a private sale transaction that went very smoothly for the most part. The seller of the unit was experienced in equipment financing, so that made getting required information for transaction very easy. This was a very quick approval from our lending partner and approved as submitted, without a single question. I was actually blown away how quick approval was, roughly 6 business hours. We know this is not the norm but I am grateful to the lending partner on the speed. A good write up in key to these larger transactions. From start to finish in less than a week. A few hiccups such as a delay on the buyout from Seller’s Bank and the biggest delay was the private seller approval, which honestly I still can’t wrap my head around and shouldn’t comment any further on. If not for that it would have been done in a few days.

This was a $150,000 SLB transaction for additional working capital for upcoming projects. This was completed over 48 months with first payment 60 days out allowing client to maximize SLB proceeds. A quick simple transaction when the right lender is used that understands SLB transactions.

Always great to receive messages like this from a new client that was referred by 10+ year client, that I have done close to a 150 deals for.

Financed a 2023 Freightliner Cascadia for a new client of ECC. This deal was paying out a lender that is no longer in business. A great client, caught in a bad situation, that wasn’t his fault but yet turned into his problem.

Some deals are smooth, well this one was a nightmare and took over 2 months to complete. This was not on the client, lender or ECC, but the lawyers and receiver handling the deal. I know now why many lenders were not financing these assets. Honestly, a simple transaction that should have been done easily, turned into a nightmare with the lawyers and receiver not willing to agree or execute anything. Personally, I am not sure I would touch another one of these deals, due to the time invested and stress.

A big shout out the lender for being so accommodating, patient and willing to help a great client caught in a poor situation, that had nothing to do with him. The lender was beyond flexible is the only way to describe it. Much respect and honestly if it wasn’t for the client, who our mission is to help, I would have thrown in the towel without all the help from lender.
