I had an amazing time last week in Toronto at our year-end conference and celebration recognizing the Top 100 Home Financing Advisors across Canada. It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners from so many different regions.
During the conference, I was honoured to receive the inaugural Mentorship Award. I’ve never really viewed myself as a mentor—simply someone who helps whenever I can—so I was genuinely surprised to see my name among the nominees. I was speechless to see that I was selected from all the advisors across the country to recieve this award, and to be the first recipient makes it even more meaningful. I have always believed in sharing my tips, knowledge, and experience, and will continue to do so. Knowing those efforts are appreciated is incredibly rewarding, thank you Mary and Stan, for recognizing this.
Earning a spot in the Top 100 this year would not have been possible without the numerous people and departments working behind the scenes to make every deal happen. I would especially like to thank my underwriter, Steve, for his hard work and dedication, and of course my clients for trusting me throughout the year.
To my fellow rookie's from Calgary, Mingze and Anna—it was wonderful to celebrate together after navigating this new role side by side. Be proud of everything you’ve accomplished this past year. I can’t wait to see what success awaits everyone in 2026!!
