TONIGHT I will hear about vendor-take-back mortgages, i.e. skipping the bank and having the Seller act as the bank on the deal. My reasons 1. I really want the property, 2. Seller needs more money than the property is worth today 3. They need income over a longer stretch of time, than a chunk of money, today. 4. Leaves my credit history clear.
