The story of my life is deeply impacted by the financial limitations and stress. Childhood years were defined by a lack of options and opportunity. This has lead to a mission to teach others to plan ahead for the future, to save and invest wisely and take advantage of the RESP plan and the tax shelters of an RRSP investment. I encourage all parents to start an RESP and separate investment accounts

for their children. As an adult I know that life has surprises and challenges, but this can managed if there is a plan A and a good back up plan in place as well. We all need a retirement savings plan, a future expenses savings plan and insurance plan that protects against extreme health changes etc...

The E-file system is open!

Why would you submit your Tax Return?
1. You are a good citizen and appreciate the opportunity to pay your share of the taxes... ( I know you are now laughing, but thanks for your cooperation. )

2. The Federal government pays you a $490 Climate Action Incentive if your income qualifies.

3. After your Tax return is updated in the system then the CRA tells Canada Service agency that you are approved to receive CPP payments and other benefits.

4. You may be eligible to receive the GST rebate if you are over 18 and your income qualifies.
*
5. If you have credits to claim such as medical expenses, charitable donations, political donations, RRSP contributions and disability credits then you may be eligible for a TAX REFUND from the money that the CRA has already taken from your pay cheque.

6 Also ask about other opportunities that may apply such as pension splitting or employee expenses etc...

Some Canada Revenue Agency systems will be undergoing annual maintenance. As a result, the following service interruptions will occur during the time frames noted below:

The EFILE, ReFILE and T1135 web services will be unavailable from 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, until 8:30 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022, (Eastern Time).
