It was an ordinary Sunday when Uday developed a headache. Within a short time, the 12-year-old could no longer move his legs or breathe on his own. Doctors at the Alberta Children’s Hospital discovered he had suffered 13 strokes.
For Uday and his family, the days that followed brought enormous uncertainty. His care team worked together to give him the best possible chance at recovery.
