One of the biggest lessons from Outwitting the Devil is this:

Most people don’t fail because they are not talented.

They fail because they drift.

They drift into distraction.
They drift into fear.
They drift into comfort.
They drift into other people’s opinions.
They drift away from their own purpose.

The opposite of drifting is decision.

Clear purpose.
Disciplined thinking.
Daily action.
A mind that refuses to be controlled by fear.

In money, business, and life, you don’t need perfect conditions.

You need direction.

Most people are waiting for success to transform them.

They think:

“When I HAVE more money, confidence, or recognition…
then I’ll DO what successful people do…
and finally, I’ll BE successful.”

But that mindset keeps you stuck in Have, Do, Be.

The better path is:

Be. Do. Have.

Choose who you want to BE first.

Be disciplined before you feel motivated.
Be confident before you have proof.
Be a leader before anyone gives you the title.

Then DO what that version of you would do:

Take the uncomfortable action.
Keep your promises.
Show up consistently.
Make the difficult decisions.

Over time, you’ll HAVE the results that match your identity.

Don’t wait for success to make you someone new.

Become that person now, and let your actions build the success you want.

Most people are waiting for their results to give them permission to become someone new.

“When I have more money, I’ll feel successful.”
“When I have the title, I’ll lead.”
“When I feel confident, I’ll take action.”

But success doesn’t work that way.

First, BE the disciplined, courageous leader.
Then, DO what that person would do consistently.
Eventually, you will HAVE the results.

Your identity creates your actions.
Your actions create your future.

Don’t wait for evidence. Start becoming.

11 years ago today, I was born in Calgary. I say so, because like a new born baby, I didn’t know anyone here.

I came to Canada with an engineering background and a plan for my life.

But life had a different plan.

I stepped into financial services and began learning something that changed the way I see money, family, leadership, and legacy.

Most people are not lazy.
Most families are not careless.
Many simply were never taught how money really works.

That became my mission.

To keep learning.
To serve families.
To build leaders.
To help people protect what matters.
To create more financial clarity, confidence, and options.

This journey has not been easy.

But looking back today, I’m grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every closed door, and every person who became part of the story.

11 years later, I’m still building.

Not just a business.

A cause.

We can’t always control the event: bad weather, setbacks, rejection, or delays. But we can control our response.

The goal stays the same. The plan may need adjustment, but we keep moving forward.
