One phone call saved a deal this week.

A broker called us assuming our rental LTV stopped where the Express Rental 70 LTV product sheet ends. It was a fair assumption to make, but it didn’t paint the full picture.

While it’s true that the Express Rental offers our most competitive pricing for rental properties, it doesn’t represent the limit of what Alta West can finance.

For rental files that fall outside Express parameters (with rates as low as 6.49%), our Flex program may provide the additional flexibility needed to get the deal across the finish line, with the Flex going up to 80% LTV

So, before assuming a file doesn't fit, give your Alta West Capital BDM a call. A 2-minute conversation could uncover a solution that keeps your deal alive.

Last week our team spent two days in Niagara, and it was a good reminder of why we love what we do.

Wednesday was the TMG Sizzle & Mingle at Carpaccio. Thursday was the CMBA Summerfest Golf Tournament at Legends on the Niagara, where we were glad to come on as a sponsor.

Between the two, we talked through a lot of files. Self employed borrowers whose income tells a more complicated story than a T4. Rentals that need a lender who actually reads the rent roll. Deals sitting in someone's pipeline waiting for a second set of eyes.

None of that gets solved over email as well as it does over a burger or a bad tee shot.
