One Conversation Changed My Perspective
I once had a conversation with a fellow professional.
Brilliant in his field.
Stable career.
Good income.
But as our conversation went deeper, one thing stood out: there was no real plan to protect that income or manage the financial risks that life can bring.
It made me think about something we understand very well in engineering:
We identify risks before they become problems.
We assess what could go wrong, consider the potential impact, and put safeguards in place.
So why should our financial lives be any different?
That conversation reinforced one of the reasons I became interested in life insurance and financial protection—not because finance is trendy, but because risk is real, and preparation matters.
As an engineer, I have learned that good risk management is not about expecting the worst. It is about being prepared so that when the unexpected happens, the things and people that matter most are better protected.
Your ability to earn an income is an asset.
Your family’s financial security matters.
And sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to start thinking differently.
Do you feel you have the right protection in place?
If you’re not sure, feel free to send me a DM. I’d be happy to have a conversation—no pressure, just an opportunity to explore the options available to you.
