Sometimes the ideas that change an industry are remarkably simple.
In 1917, Dr. June McCarroll was forced off the road by an oncoming truck. Her solution? A painted line separating traffic.
Dr. McCarroll became a vocal advocate for highway centre lines, personally painting the first known lines in California, and helping advance an idea that would fundamentally change how we navigate roads today.
More than 100 years later, the roads are much easier to navigate (although not always easier on your tires).
She drew the line. Driven by her.
