Finally finished it!
My 6 year old and took one week to finish this 1,000 piece puzzle.
I told her we have two options when we started it,
1) look at the picture on the box, as it acts as a guide and will make it easier.
2) Don't look, and try solving it.
She told me, "we can have short term goals dad, and finish each color one at a time and then have a long term goal of putting it all together"
This stunned, me. She was obviously eavesdropping on my conversations with my wife about our long term goals. I was proud and surprised she even thought of that.
Long story short, some of you may look at this picture and see imperfection, because, lets face it, I have two kids and of course pieces are going to missing for every puzzle I have.
But when I look at this puzzle, I see a process of setting up short term goals, to reach long term goals, and along the way there will be things missing, but that doesn't take away from all the positive things we did together.
Puzzling is a great way to:
1) Think about patterns
2) Think about strategy
3) Spend time with your family
If your social barometer is low right now, and you are feeling like things aren't coming together as they should for you, consider setting small goals. Don't worry about the bigger picture too much, just yet.
Stock markets are at all time highs now. What's the next step?
Just like using the picture on the box to help you, get your wealth planning picture in place too.
Our team is very good at getting all the small pieces together for you, so you can have peace of mind.
All the best. And keep puzzling, its very relaxing and will recharge you, maybe!
