In fiscal 2024 I set a goal to become one of the top Mortgage Specialists in the country. Top 35 to be exact.
It was an ambitious goal, especially given it was only my third official year in the role.
In December at our annual conference in Toronto my name was called, finishing in 30th spot-I had done it!
I was beyond words & a little emotional as I walked up on stage.
My reward-a trip to Maui with my husband. Given the demands of my job, we hadn't really had an opportunity to go on a honeymoon yet so we made the rest of the trip exactly that! I wanted to share some of our memories made here as we just got back a few days ago.

Thank you to all my clients! You make it worth all the late nights, 1000s of emails/calls & minor lack of sleep 😂 (I literally do dream up ways to get mortgages done).
Last year I sent over 100 exciting "APPROVED" letters to my clients, who wants one this year?!

Rate Announcement coming tomorrow!

What do you think the decision will be? Increase, drop or hold?

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Bank of Canada will announce its decision on the target for the overnight rate. A press release will provide a brief explanation of the decision. The Bank will also publish its quarterly Monetary Policy Report (MPR) at the same time as the rate decision.
