They deserve a strong, secure future where they can thrive.

Today, I spoke with a business owner whose priority was life insurance because he wanted to protect his family—and I recognized him for taking that important step.

But I also asked, “What are you doing to protect your income?”

Life insurance protects your family, while disability and critical illness insurance can help protect your income if an illness or injury prevents you from working.

As a business owner, you need all three—especially when the business depends on you.

This week, I have the privilege of attending the 70th Advocis Banff School — learning, connecting and growing alongside advisors from across Canada. 🇨🇦

I joined this industry because I genuinely believe the work we do can change the trajectory of a family’s life.

Behind every insurance policy, investment account or financial plan is a real person. A family. A business. A dream someone has worked incredibly hard to build.

And when life doesn’t go according to plan, having the right strategies in place can make all the difference.

That’s why continuing to learn matters so much to me. The more I grow as an advisor, the better equipped I am to educate, guide and serve the people who put their trust in me.

And somewhere along the way, you meet some pretty incredible people too! ❤️

Learn. Grow. Connect. Serve.

Financial balance isn’t about choosing between enjoying life today and planning for tomorrow. 💛

It’s about learning how to do both.

✨ Live — enjoy the life you’re working for.
📈 Build — save and invest for your future.
🛡️ Protect — make sure the unexpected doesn’t undo what you’ve built.

The question is: Is your financial plan balanced?

If you’re not sure, let’s have a conversation. Sometimes a few small adjustments can make a big difference. 💬

Does your young adult actually know what to do with the money they’re earning? 💭💰

Getting that first paycheque is exciting—but knowing how to save it, grow it, invest it, and make smart financial decisions is a skill that has to be learned.

If you have a young adult 18+ who’s earning money but isn’t sure what to do next, I’d love to help them build good money habits from the start.

📩 Send me a DM and let’s have a conversation.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A question I hear from parents: “Why would I get life insurance for my child?”

It’s a fair question.

For many families, it’s not about expecting something to happen. It’s about protecting future options.

When children and teens are young and healthy, life insurance can be more affordable, and depending on the policy, securing coverage early may help protect their future insurability if their health changes later in life.

Think of it as planning ahead while the opportunity is there.

We plan for their education.
We save for their future.
We help give them the best possible start.

Protecting their insurability can simply be another part of that conversation.

If you’re a parent and you’ve wondered whether this makes sense for your family, feel free to message me. I’m happy to explain the options—no pressure, just information. 💛

What an incredible day at Lakeside Connections, organized by the Femme Alliance Network! 💛

My heart is so full after spending the day surrounded by so many amazing women. There was so much laughter, dancing, genuine connection, and encouragement. It’s always refreshing to be in a room where women are committed to lifting each other up, growing together, and building meaningful relationships.

I was honoured to have the opportunity to speak about The Power of Choice through a financial lens.

One of the biggest messages I wanted everyone to take away is that financial confidence doesn’t happen by accident. It starts by asking ourselves the right questions.

Yesterday, I challenged everyone to think about these three:

✨ If my income stopped tomorrow, how long could I maintain my current lifestyle?
✨ Am I saving and investing enough for the retirement I want?
✨ Would the people I love be financially okay without me?

These aren’t always easy questions to answer, but they’re some of the most important ones we can ask ourselves. Because every decision we make today has the power to shape our tomorrow.

A huge thank you to the Femme Alliance Network for creating such an inspiring event. It was a privilege to share, learn, and connect with so many incredible women. I left feeling inspired, encouraged, and reminded of the power of community.

If these questions got you thinking and you’re wondering where you stand, I’d love to help. Sometimes all it takes is a 15-minute conversation to gain clarity and start making more confident financial decisions.

🏆 Champions aren’t made overnight… they’re built one disciplined decision at a time.

Congratulations to Spain on winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup! 🇪🇸⚽

Watching them lift the trophy reminded me that success—whether in sports or in your finances—isn’t about one big moment.

It’s about what happens behind the scenes.

✨ The early mornings.
✨ The consistent effort.
✨ The setbacks that build resilience.
✨ The discipline to keep showing up, even when no one is watching.

The same is true when it comes to building wealth and protecting your family’s future.

💰 Every dollar you save.
📈 Every investment you make.
🛡️ Every insurance decision you put in place.

These may seem like small steps today, but over time they create something extraordinary.

Your financial goals won’t happen by chance.

They happen through intentional choices, consistency, and trusting the process.

So celebrate Spain’s victory—but let it also be a reminder that your biggest win could be the financial legacy you’re building for yourself and the people you love.

What’s one financial goal you’re committed to achieving this year? Share it below! 👇

Parents of young adults, this message is for you.

We’ve spent years helping our kids get an education, build confidence, and prepare for their future. But have we taught them how to protect that future?

More and more young people are being diagnosed with health conditions that can make insurance harder or more expensive to qualify for later on.

Life insurance isn’t just about what happens when you pass away. It’s about protecting future opportunities, future debt, a future mortgage, and the family they may one day have.

The best time to put protection in place is when they’re young and healthy—not when they need it.

As parents, let’s not just prepare our children to build wealth. Let’s teach them how to protect it too.

What would happen if your paycheck stopped tomorrow?

Everyone talks about life insurance, but what
happens if you don’t die… and simply can’t work?

Disability Insurance protects your income when an illness or injury prevents you from earning a paycheck.

Here’s why that matters:

Did you know that 1 in 3 Canadians will experience a disability lasting 90 days or more before age 65?

And many of the leading causes aren’t accidents. Today, some of the top reasons for long-term disability claims are mental health disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and cancer.

Disability insurance is for:
✅ Employees
✅ Business owners
✅ Self-employed professionals
✅ Tradespeople
✅ Parents whose family depends on their income

Many people assume WCB will protect them. It won’t.

WCB only covers injuries or illnesses that happen because of your work.

If you’re diagnosed with cancer, suffer a stroke, develop a mental health condition, or are injured outside of work, WCB may not provide coverage. That’s where Disability Insurance steps in. It can replace approximately 60% to 85% of your income while you’re unable to work.

Your mortgage doesn’t stop.
Your bills don’t stop.
Your family still depends on you.

Life insurance protects your family if you pass away.

Disability Insurance protects your family while you’re still here.

As an Insurance Advisor, I’ve found that your ability to earn an income is often your most valuable asset. The question isn’t whether you have life insurance—it’s whether you can afford to lose your paycheck for months or even years.
