Ever wondered how to boost your child's confidence in Math? 📊 📐 (Part I)
Well, I'm here to provide you with the perfect inspiration! 😃

So, here it is:
1. DON'T use negative vocabulary like, "Well, I'm not a 'Math person', either, honey." or, "I always hated Math, too." This kind of talk can re-inforce in your child that you 'have it' or you 'don't'. And it also tells them that they may be alone in this journey! And that can be scary.

2. DO tell them if you struggled. I'm not telling you to fake your love for Math!

3. DO tell them that even though your struggled, you know that there are new ways to do things, FUN ways to do things, and you will figure it out together! You will help them, or you will find help for them.

4. DO notice when they use Math - or even when YOU use Math - in every day, easy, fun occurrences, even at the grocery store, or in video games, or playing with friends! Praise them for this and make Math fun and breezy.

5. DO set up tutoring with me! My great love is seeing my students HUGE decrease in anxiety and HUGE increase in confidence - and GRADES! Let me know how you implement these ideas!! 💙 💛 💜
