MEET THE BAND!
Alyxus Rose - Bass
Alyxus Rose - AKA Lyxx Rose was born and raised in Alberta and has been expanding her music journey ever since the age of 11. After hearing the low end rumble in the intro to B.T.O's "Not Fragile", she got her first bass right away and never let go. In her teens, she was able to try her hand at piano, trumpet, saxophone, drums and choirs to keep busy. Her first introduction into the metal scene was playing bass with a Calgary based punk group called Days I Die. They played shows around Alberta often, and released a self titled album in 2016. She now lends her bass skills to power metal group Syryn. Since joining in 2018, she's recorded two albums with the group and has been featured in UKs Bass Guitar Magazine, for the April 2020 Issue. She had also sessioned for death metal supergroup Sadistic Embodiment in 2019. If she's not playing a show, or at the gym, you can find her volunteering and organizing in the local scene at various WCMFA events along side fellow bandmate and Decimate Metalfest organizer Sloan Voxx. Some of Alyxus's favorite bass tones are found in bands such as Guns N Roses, The Who, Phillip Sayce, Funkadelic, Muse, Alter Bridge, B.T.O, Wheel and Royal Blood. Currently she gigs with her Alpine White Thunderbird and Traynor stack and is always down to play a show!
