In 2006 I started my first business — All About Bouncing, an inflatable rental company in Central Alberta.
I worked hard. I had a good product. Families loved us.
But I remember the feeling of knowing there were people in Red Deer searching for exactly what I offered — and they just couldn't find me.
I didn't fully understand Google Business Profile back then. I figured it out over years, the hard way.
By the time I opened Wood Shed Axe Throwing in Sylvan Lake in 2016, I knew a lot more. We became the #1 rated group activity in the Central Alberta and Google visibility was a big part of why.
Same person. Same work ethic. Very different result.
