এডিবির নাম ও লোগোর অপব্যবহার করে প্রতারকেরা ফি এর বিনিময়ে ব্যক্তি পর্যায়ে ঋণ প্রদানের প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে প্রতারনা করছে।

এডিবি সরাসরি কোন ব্যক্তিকে ঋণ প্রদান করেনা এবং কাউকে ব্যক্তিগত আর্থিক তথ্য জিজ্ঞেস করে না।

কোনো ব্যক্তি যদি নিজেকে এডিবির প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে পরিচয় দিয়ে এ ধরনের সহায়তার প্রস্তাব দেয়, তবে তিনি প্রতারণামূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে জড়িত। এ ধরনের কোনো প্রস্তাব পেলে জড়িত ব্যক্তি বা ব্যক্তিদের বিরুদ্ধে যথাযথ আইনগত ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করার জন্য জোরালোভাবে পরামর্শ দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

A framework proposes strategies to bridge the projects’ financing gap. It involves interventions across five themes:
1️⃣ measuring the shared economic benefits of cross-border projects
2️⃣ identifying funding mechanisms
3️⃣ driving efficiency through public–private partnerships
4️⃣ developing the capacity of financing institutions, and
5️⃣ channeling financing into projects.
