DOER has introduced a new banking concept in Bangladesh for both Unbanked and Under-banked population in rural as well as in urban areas. The initial step-in starts with offering financial identity to both mobile phone and non-mobile phone owner communities. DOER's vision is to render the banking product and services to the extent where even commercial banks are too far off to reach. DOER has leveraged mobile infrastructure for huge nation-wide financial network operations but literally it is not the top-up like mobile banking. Rather in DOER system, mobile banking is an alternate delivery channel access for the convenience of individual's account operation. That has given the full strength and opportunity for replacing expensive operating system and Desktop PC hardware. The total low cost of ownership will in turn help DOER to keep the service cost reasonable, affordable and competitive. As per our innovation in near future a Bank Teller will simply need a cheap Chinese Android Handset.
