6:15 - Chug down first coffee (non‑negotiable)
6:25 - get to the Metro
7:55 - Inbox sweep: one approval, a few client briefs, and a couple of spot-fires to deal with (standard)
8:00 - hour of power to chip away at the top three on the to do list
9:00 - Scenario calls, proposals, catch up on what didn't get checked off the list yesterday, and the day before if we're honest.. 22 browser tabs open
11:00 - record a couple of looms to break down proposals and review loan docs
1:00 - lunch? must be nice...
3:30 - get pinged about an approval, before I could pump my fists, get pinged for a couple of MIRs
5:00 - tidy up a file lodgement, a couple of catch up calls returned from earlier, triple check to make sure the settled loans, actually settled
9:30 – trying to log off…

Stop scrolling – paying rent on time could actually help you buy a house.

One of our friends convinced herself that renting meant she’d never save up, until we helped her understand 6 months or more of on-time rent payments can count as genuine savings (its proof you can manage money).

Usually, “genuine savings” means money saved for 3–6 months, but a clean rent history shows exactly that discipline. For example, some lenders will accept a 6‑month rental ledger, and some might even consider just 3 months of perfect rent. If you’ve been renting 6+ months and never missed a payment, you might already qualify. First-home buyers especially – this is a total game-changer. Know someone renting?
