✔ Government assistance to buy a home!
Home Guarantee Scheme to 50,000 places per year.

The government has extended its Home Guarantee Scheme, expanding the number of places under its First Home Guarantee and its Family Home Guarantee programs, and launching a new scheme solely for regional Australia

The Government will increase the number of guarantees under the Home Guarantee Scheme to 50,000 places a year.

🏠 First Home Buyers: 35,000 guarantees available per year for the First Home Guarantee (previously the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme). If you’re eligible you’ll get a limited guarantee from the Australian Government to buy or build your first home with a low deposit of 5%, without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

👩‍👧‍👦 Single Parents: 5,000 places, allows single parents with dependent children to buy a home with a low deposit of 2%, without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

👍 Getting back into the market: 10,000 places for a new Regional Home Guarantee that will support eligible citizens and permanent residents who have not owned a home for 5 years to purchase a new home in a regional location with a low deposit of 5%, without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

Some spots are currently available with new spots available on July 1. Eligibility requirements apply.

▪Being proactive during hardship

If you are going to experience hardship or financial distress that will affect you making your repayment commitments, you need to act now. Customers currently facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 health crisis may be able to request a suspension on mortgage repayments or other options depending on the lender.

Customers experiencing financial difficulty should speak to your lender's hardship team to discuss their options or contact me first if you would like to speak before contacting your lender.

Many of us are working from home and spending more of our free time at home too, take advantage of this time to sit down and examine your finances. What are your goals? Are you on track to reach them? What do these economic changes mean for you?

This would have to be the best Christmas present I received!!! 🎆🎆🎆

I have been named a finalist in the Rising Star category at the 2018 Better Business Awards, hosted by The Adviser, Australia’s top publication for Australian mortgage and finance brokers.

Some of the other finalists have been brokers for many years so I am very honoured just to be nominated.
