The Coast Edge team recently attended a presentation led by Anita Brown, GM of the High Speed Rail Authority (HSR), hosted with CommBank, exploring the proposed Newcastle to Sydney high-speed rail corridor.

With a Lake Macquarie station proposed (Morisset), the project could help unlock stronger connectivity, more jobs and long-term investment across the region. We can’t wait to see what comes from this!

The HSRA has been funded $700m to conduct the feasibility study. A decision to commence could be made within 2- 3yrs.
