Over the years, Community Bank Freshwater has contributed significantly to renovating the Manly Warringah Wolves' clubhouse and grandstand, creating a space that players, volunteers, staff and the broader community can genuinely call their own.

Whether it's match day or a post-game catch up, that space means everything to the people who show up week in, week out. We're proud to have played a part in making it what it is today.

What a day on the greens for an incredible cause with Northern Beaches Women's Shelter. ⛳💙

Last Thursday, Kasey and Tamara joined over 100 guests for the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter Annual Golf Day, a brilliant event from start to finish. From an early 6am start to a live auction hosted by the hilarious Michael Lister, with MC Mike Munro keeping the energy up all day, it was one of those events where every moment felt worthwhile.

We were proud to be a part of it as sponsors, and to share the day alongside some fantastic local businesses. A huge thank you to all the event sponsors, Sandcastle Property & Finance, Australian College of Professionals, insurance+, Balgowlah Automotive, and Freshwater Brewing Company for keeping everyone refreshed on the course! 🍺

All funds raised go directly to supporting the incredible work the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter does for women and families across our community. Congratulations to the NBWS team on pulling off such a fantastic event. 👏

What a night at the Manly Warringah Football Association presentation evening! ⚽🏆

Congratulations to the Senior Men's and Women's Premier League and AL1 Champions, what an incredible season from all involved.

We were proud to be part of the celebrations, with our Executive Assistant Simmone Linay on hand to present the champions awards on the night. Moments like this are a reminder of why community sport matters so much on the Northern Beaches.

Community support means showing up for the people and places that need it most. 💙

Located at North Head, Manly, the Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice provides respite, symptom management, and end of life care for young people aged 16 to 30 living with life limiting illnesses, offering holistic support not just for patients, but for their families too.

We're incredibly proud to have been part of the AYAH community since before the hospice even opened its doors, and to continue supporting the vital work they do every single day.

🎂 Secret talent? Creating fancy cakes, no baking involved. (We have questions, but we're also impressed.)
🎤 Go-to karaoke song? She should not be allowed anywhere near a microphone. (Her words, not ours.)
📣 Best advice she's received? "Always make your bed."
❤️ Most rewarding part of her role? The support they've been able to provide to some truly amazing and deserving organisations, including Northern Beaches Women's Shelter, AYAH, Fight for a Cure, the Childhood Dementia Initiative, and many more. That's what community banking is really about.

This past week, the world said goodbye to Dolly Parton — an extraordinary artist whose legacy reaches far beyond the music she gave us. 💙

Among the many lives she touched was a deep commitment to education and creating opportunities for young people. From literacy programs to scholarships, Dolly believed in helping the next generation dream bigger and go further.
It’s a belief that resonates deeply with us at Community Bank Freshwater.
Here in our own community, our Tertiary Scholarship Program is one of the ways we’re able to invest in the next generation — supporting local students as they take an important step towards their future. W support a number of students from local schools every year, with the winner receiving $15,000 towards their tertiary education.

Dolly showed the world that giving back can create a legacy that lasts far beyond our own lifetime.
