A club with 148 years of history, and a lunch at Parliament House to match. 🏏

Kasey and Simmone headed into NSW Parliament House on Friday for Manly Warringah District Cricket Club's annual fundraising luncheon, invited by Michael Regan, Independent Member for Wakehurst.

Founded in 1878, Manly Warringah District Cricket Club now competes as the Manly Warringah Waratahs across both men’s and women’s divisions in NSW Premier Cricket. Few clubs on the Northern Beaches can claim that kind of history.

Guest speakers Mark Waugh and Joel Davies rounded out a brilliant afternoon, and it was a treat to take it all in inside the Chamber.

Phyllis O’Donnell’s original board, back on a Freshwater beach. 🏄‍♀️

Girls Board Riders brought the magic to Freshwater on Saturday for this year’s Phyllis O’Donnell Memorial Shield, honouring the woman who won the inaugural World Surfboard Championships at Manly in 1964. Seeing her actual board on display was something special.

Female boardriders travelled from across NSW, including the wonderful Lennox Head crew, to compete in longboard and shortboard championships across every age group.

Great to see Layne Beachleychley there in support, and to hear the history and interview skills of the uber talented Matt Chojnacki

The 8th Northern Beaches Women's Shelter Annual Lunch, and what a room for it. 💙

Held in the Freshwater Room at Felons Brewing Co. Manly, a fitting coincidence we’ll happily take, the afternoon brought the community together in support of the extraordinary work NBWS does for women and children across the Northern Beaches.

Thank you to BASSIKE and Deborah Sams for hosting once again, to Tai Hara and Deborah for speaking so powerfully, and to auctioneer Michael Lister for keeping the energy up all afternoon.

Great to have Kasey, Tania, Tamara and Board members Denise, Julie and Simmone there representing Community Bank Freshwater, as we are every year. 🤍

$3.5 million raised in 12 years, and every dollar goes straight into the lab. 💜

On Saturday night our team joined 250 guests at Elysium Manly for Fight for a Cure’s annual Gala Ball, Brighter Together.

Fight for a Cure is a Northern Beaches fundraising group dedicated to funding Australian cancer researchers, and we’re incredibly proud to have supported them once again with an additional $10,000 donation announced on the night by our Board members Denise and Ian.

It was wonderful to see the 2026 research recipients recognised, and a real privilege for Tamara to meet Professor Gavin Marx, the doctor who has treated a member of her family for the past ten years.

Keynote speaker Molly Croft was extraordinary. Diagnosed at 12, Molly has since raised over $1 million for research through The Tie Dye Project . Hearing her story was the highlight of the night.

Thank you to MC Karen Ledbury and the entire Fight for a Cure team for an unforgettable evening.

One night, a lot of questions, and over $12,000 raised. 🧠

Our staff and Board headed to last Thursday for ’s Trivia Night, raising funds for .

We held top spot on the leaderboard for one brief, glorious moment, and Roxy’s efforts in the paper plane throwing competition will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

It was a pleasure to be joined on the night by Nicole from the Childhood Dementia Initiative.

An incredible effort from Rebound Health and everyone who got behind it. 👏

Big things ahead for the Wolves. 🐺

The AFL is investing in an elevated competition next year called the Sydney Football League, and Manly Warringah Wolves have been granted a license to compete.

Chris shares what that step up means for the club, and why having Community Bank Freshwater behind the athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers makes it possible.

Clinical care is the core of what AYAH does. It's far from all of it. 💙

Thanks to the accessible vehicle donated by Community Bank Freshwater and the Rotary Club of Manly, patients get to do the things any young person would want to. A day at the zoo. Getting a tattoo. A meal out with mates. A game of footy.

The vehicle even carries the gear for AYAH's charity sausage sizzles at Bunnings.

As Laura puts it, without that support the care they offer families would look very different.

What a day at Harbord Bowling Club's Charity Day! ⛳💙

Barefoot bowls, market stalls, great food and a whole lot of fun, all raising funds for the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter

We were proud to sponsor the putt putt golf, and our stall was buzzing all day with the Putt2Win competition. The leaderboard got very competitive! Huge congratulations to Billy, who took out top spot and won the game itself, and to Remi who scored the hamper bundle in the raffle.

Thank you to Harbord Bowling Club for putting on such a brilliant event, and to everyone who came down and got involved. Every dollar raised goes towards supporting women and children across the Northern Beaches who need it most. 🤍

Celebrating a true icon of Australian surfing. 🏄‍♀️

We're proud to announce our sponsorship of the Phyllis O'Donnell Memorial Shield Event, held at Freshwater Beach on Saturday 31st October.

Phyllis made history as the first ever winner of the inaugural World Surfboard Championships at Manly Beach in 1964, and this event honours her legacy by bringing together female surfers from across the region for a full day of competition, connection and celebrating women's achievements in sport.

Kicking off at 7am, we'll be there all day with our marquee set up, so come down and say hello! 💙
