🏡 Think you can’t get a home loan? You might be ruling yourself out too early.

One of the most common things I hear is:

“There’s no point applying, I won’t qualify.”

After a week by the water, chasing sunsets and making memories with the kids, the holidays have come to an end.

I’ll be back in the office tomorrow, refreshed, recharged and ready to help more customers with their home loan needs.

But first... it’s time to settle in and watch the Bathurst 1000.

I’ll admit it, the Newcastle Knights aren’t my team. But after calling Newcastle home for the past 15 years, and with my own team not there today, I’ll be proudly getting behind the Knights and joining the rest of our community in cheering them on.

A Grand Final is a special occasion, and no one deserves to enjoy it more than the loyal supporters who have ridden every high and low along the way.

Today, my thoughts are also with the Newcastle supporters who were injured in yesterday’s tragic accident while farewelling the team. Wishing everyone affected a full and speedy recovery, and sending strength to their families, friends and the wider Knights community.

Good luck to the players, coaches, staff and supporters. Enjoy the occasion, stay safe, and bring it home for Newcastle. 💙❤️

From this afternoon, I’ll be taking some leave and will return on Monday 12 October.

Over the next week, I’ll be swapping emails and phone calls for more moments like this... sunshine, salty air, and quality time by the water with my family.

This afternoon I took some time out to donate blood.

For me, this is more than just a donation. My son lives with Hereditary Spherocytosis, a blood disorder that has given our family a firsthand appreciation of how important blood donations are.

You never know when someone you love may need the generosity of a complete stranger.

If you’re able to donate, I encourage you to consider it. A small amount of your time can make a significant difference in someone else’s life.

Today I’m giving back in a way that means a lot to me and my family ❤️
