The government said negative gearing changes wouldn’t affect renters…😱
But here is what’s actually happening.👇
The reality is we’re seeing significantly less rental properties available for rent
NOW depending on which city you live in, your rent has probably already increased.
If not Unfortunately, it’s about to get a lot worse in fact i spoke with a client today in regional QLD whos rent is about to go up $140 per week.
So let us show you something.👀
With rental prices continuing to rise, owning a brand-new home could actually cost the same as what you’re paying in rent—or even less.
For example, the average rent in Sydney is around $850 per week, which works out to approximately $3,683 per month.
Now compare that with the 2% Help to Buy Scheme.Under the scheme, you could purchase a $1,000,000 home,
but your mortgage repayments would be based on borrowing around $600,000.
which works out to be roughly $3,667 per month
about the same as Sydney’s average rent.📈
So depending on where you live and what you’re currently paying in rent, you could potentially own a brand-new home for the same cost as renting
or even less.
If you’d like to find out whether you qualify 🙏
We would love to help👇
