PPA – Relevance to the Passenger

Passenger personal accident cover is a type of insurance cover which covers death or bodily injury to passengers being conveyed in a bus, kombi or taxi caused by a road accident.
It is a statutory requirement that all owners and operators of buses, kombis and taxis operating in Zimbabwe acquire this cover.
It is the passenger’s right to check before they board any bus, kombi or taxi if it is covered by this type of cover.
