Anchorpay Ltd is a company dedicated to enhancing the financial capabilities of children and youth. Launched in April 2014, the Company has been mainly doing research on the most innovative, safe and affordable ways to make financial education and services available to all young people in the world considering guidelines set by governing organizations such as Child and Youth Finance International

(CYFI). We sponsored the Global Start-up Battle with a version of our product and assisted them to manage the food rations during the whole weekend. The Company leverages expertise and innovation from within its network of global organizations. Its partners and supporters include financial authorities and some of the world’s leading financial institutions, international NGOs, multilateral foundations, renowned academics, and without a doubt, children and youth. The Company has one central objective: increase the economic citizenship of children and youth. This means giving all children and youth aged 8- 18 the knowledge to make wise financial decisions , the opportunity to accumulate savings, and the skills to find employment, earn a livelihood and ultimately break the cycle of poverty on a real platform using real money to purchase real products.

We are so thankful to have been part of this challenge to the regional round and still hoping for the wild card selections to the finals. We would like to congratulate the selected winners, their startups deserved to win as they have progressed amazingly. We are also really grateful for the exposure and learning environment that was provided in Nairobi and we are intent on applying it in Anchorpay and build a success story for our country to be proud of.

We at Anchored Finance are truly grateful because 2015 was a progressive and amazing year for us, qualifying for the regional finals of the , and all the publicity that came to our startup. We would like to thank all our partners, friends and families for their continued love and support.
