“15 contentores. Centenas de voluntários. Um compromisso: uma Maputo mais limpa e sustentável.”
“15 waste containers. Hundreds of volunteers. One commitment: a cleaner and more sustainable Maputo.”
🌍 ESG IN ACTION | EMERITUS RESSEGUROS S.A.
On 19 September, Emeritus Resseguros S.A. joined the Clean-Up Day movement, actively participating in a clean-up campaign along the Maputo Beachfront.
The initiative brought together our employees, representatives from different organisations and hundreds of volunteer citizens, demonstrating that building a cleaner and more sustainable city is a collective responsibility.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and to the communities where we operate, Emeritus Resseguros S.A. donated 15 1,100-litre waste containers to the Maputo City Municipal Council, aimed at strengthening waste collection capacity and contributing to improved waste management across the city.
This initiative reflects our vision of ESG beyond principles and policies: ESG as a commitment, participation and tangible impact.
We believe that responsible companies have an important role to play in promoting more resilient, healthy and sustainable communities. For this reason, we will continue to seek initiatives that enable us to turn our corporate commitment into actions with a real impact on society.
A cleaner city starts with each one of us.
🌱 Emeritus Resseguros S.A. One Group. One Vision. One Flight.
