Behind every system we deploy is a team that makes it possible.

At YEC Fund, we finance access to energy and productive assets.
Through SoshoPay , we aggregate demand, assess users, and implement solutions on the ground.

That combination is what turns financing into real impact.

This Workers’ Day, we recognise the technites, field teams, and partners who carry this work forward daily, installing systems, connecting businesses, and keeping livelihoods running.

Their work is practical, visible, and essential.

To everyone building and powering communities — thank you.

Together, we build a stronger tomorrow.

Another step in building virtual grids. ⚡

As the project lead for the SoshoPay™️ (EEP Africa ‘25) Virtual Solar Grids for MSMEs in Zimbabwe, YEC Fund supported the deployment of a 4kVA system (2KWp, 2.56KWh BESS) in Eastview.

This installation is designed for productive use, supporting:

❄️ Cooling for retail
📶 Starlink internet micro-subscription services

Each system strengthens a growing network of MSMEs, turning households and small businesses into economic nodes.

Distributed energy, real economic impact. EEP Africa

Across Africa, women are not just beneficiaries of economic empowerment programs. They are builders of businesses, drivers of innovation, and leaders of change.

At YEC Fund, we see this every day.

From women installing solar systems, to managing enterprises powered by clean energy, to leading conversations about financial inclusion and sustainable development. These stories remind us that when women have access to opportunity, entire communities move forward.

Our work has always been about expanding access. Access to capital. Access to energy. Access to knowledge. And women continue to be at the center of that progress.

As we mark International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who are shaping Africa’s economic future through entrepreneurship, technology, and clean energy.

The work continues.
