Hatch is seeking an experienced Site HSE Officer to join its Project Delivery Group (PDG) and support the implementation of world-class health, safety, and environmental standards on major mining and construction projects.
✅ Key Requirements:
• Recognized Health & Safety Degree or Diploma
• 5+ years of onsite HSE experience within EPCM, Construction, or Mining environments
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination
• Passed Silicosis Screening in line with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
• Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk management, and incident investigation
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with project and legal HSE requirements
• Participate in Job Risk Assessments and Critical Control Verification activities
• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety interactions, and planned task observations
• Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives
• Investigate incidents and track corrective actions
• Conduct contractor HSE audits and workplace inspections
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Promote a strong safety culture and Zero Harm philosophy across project teams
