The Ndola City Council has appointed Dante investments ltd (trading as) City Parking Solutions Ltd (Cps) and Servest Parking Ltd to upgrade, maintain and manage the parking enforcement in the Ndola Central Business District (CBD). The entire CBD managed areas have been painted and clearly numbered including reserved parking bays which are painted in yellow. Signage has also been installed througho
ut the CBD displaying the enforcement measures, rates and a helpline. Registered taxi cab parking areas have also been designated. This is in line with council’s efforts to maintain an orderly and effective parking system. CPS/Servest will next week deploy parking Marshalls and wardens who will manage the parking bays, they will wear distinct blue reflective vests and caps showing the Council, CPS and Servest logos as well as personal tags and will carry official receipts which should be displayed on the vehicles’ dashboards upon payment.
