CERVICAL CANCER HAS BEEN ON THE INCREASE!!
With the high prevalence recorded in Zambia. To this effect, a cancer survivor Masuzgo Sichone Mwala, has risen to her feet to fight cervical cancer through awareness and the importance of screening as a way of trying to pull down the numbers. Ono savings and credit association - a village banking association which helps improve the lives of the under privileged and vulnerable in the mazabuka community by providing savings and credit facilities joined forces in the awareness campaign, ono savings and credit association gives Credit to the teal sisters group for coming up with this initiative, we will always support such initiatives because it is one way of giving back to the community.

ONO SPLASHES PAINT WORTH K31, 000 AT MAZABUKA CORRECTIONAL CENTRE

Ono Savings and Credit Association, (ONO) has donated 70 by five litres paint valued at K31, 000 towards the painting of Mazabuka Correctional Centre in a move aimed at rehabilitating the facility.

During the flagging off of the painting today, ONO Director, Isaac Mvula said the gesture is part of the association’s obligation to the community.

He says everyone is a potential prisoner adding that it is important to think about inmates.

Meanwhile, Mazabuka Correctional Center, Officer in Charge, Superintendent Fred Mwaba commended ONO for the donation.

He says the gesture will help the facility provide conditions that suit the demands of correctional services.

He says that the Correctional services command wants to provide humanity custody to inmates.

ONO CONTINUES TO ASSIST GOVERNMENT IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19.

In a bid to compliment government's efforts in the fight against Covid-19 we recently donated assorted items worth K8, 000 to three schools in Mazabuka district.

Among the donated items were thermometers, handwashing basins, hand sanitizers, facemasks and hand washing soap evenly distributed to Hillside Primary School, Kaonga Secondary School and Mazabuka Secondary Continuous Education (MASCOE).

We continue to support our communities and the government.
