Strengthening partnerships for inclusive development 🀝

CEEC has continued to enhance stakeholder engagement aimed at information sharing and increasing participation in high-value projects in Southern Province .
Today, CEEC Director General Dr. Muwe Mungule and senior management paid a curtesy call on Chirundu District Commissioner Patrick Kasambila to share the plans and initiatives that CEEC has earmarked for the benefit of communities across the valley districts of Sinazongwe, Gwembe, Siavonga, Chirundu, and Chikankata.
These projects are aimed at driving economic growth and empowering local entrepreneurs.

We had a productive engagement in Sinazongwe as we encouraged local farmers in high-value goat and aquaculture projects planned for the district. The meeting provided a valuable platform for information exchange, setting the tone for CEEC investments and projects implementation.

We have disbursed K198.2 million to support 7,157 entrepreneurs across Southern Province from 2021 to date, reinforcing efforts to drive rural industrialisation and economic diversification.

Speaking during a courtesy call on the Provincial Administration, CEEC Director General Dr. Muwe Mungule highlighted that the funding has supported sectors such as agriculture, aquaculture, and hospitality, while also targeting high-value projects aligned with the province’s economic strengths.

Meanwhile, Southern Province Permanent Secretary Dr. Namani Monze welcomed the investments, urging beneficiaries and the Commission to ensure the projects translate into sustainable businesses, job creation and meaningful socioeconomic development.
