Powering Health in Zambia with Solar Energy
We are excited to announce the successful completion of the Health Facility Solar Electrification (HFSE) Project. Through a US$100,000 contribution from the Prudence Foundation, we have partnered with the WHO to bring sustainable energy to eight health facilities across Zambia.
The Impact at a Glance
Launched in March 2025, this initiative tackles power instability to ensure that life-saving services are never interrupted. Key benefits include:
• Reliable Power: Stable electricity for maternity wards and emergency care.
• Resilience: Strengthening health systems against climate-related energy challenges.
• Modern Care: Consistent operation of essential medical equipment.
