On 29th September 2026 in Livingstone, the Lusaka Securities Exchange Plc (LuSE) and Africa Legal took an important next step in our partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU commits us to working more closely together over the coming years.
The inaugural GC Forum Extractives Zambia Edition showed why partnerships like this matter. The opportunities ahead for Zambia's capital markets and extractives sector will not be realised by any one part of the ecosystem working alone. They need finance, legal, investment, regulation, government, policymakers, industry and, importantly, communities to come together to share perspectives, challenge thinking and create practical opportunities for collaboration.
Through this partnership, LuSE and Africa Legal will showcase Zambia on Africa Legal's international platforms and events, including its businesses, its listed companies, its investment story and its expertise. The aim is to bring Zambian voices into conversations across Africa and beyond. For LuSE, this is another way to position the Exchange as a gateway for capital into Zambia and to connect Zambian enterprises with the investors and advisors who can help them grow.
