Zambia Bata Shoe Company PLC reported EPS of ZMW0.35 for the half year ended 30th June 2026, representing a 29.6% increase from ZMW0.27 in the prior year period. The improvement was driven by cost efficiency, merchandise mix optimization, and a ZMW3 million release of obsolescence reserve. Unaudited results were expected to be released on SENS and published in local press on or before 8th September 2026. Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company's securities until publication of the results.
