THE WEEK THAT WAS… FINANCIAL LITERACY WEEK IBP DIARIES
Investrust Bank Plc (IBP) remains committed to empowering Zambians especially our young learners with good financial management knowledge. We believe that perfecting the art of managing money well today for a better tomorrow is more behavioural than it is skill. At IBP, the commemoration of the Financial Literacy Week (FLW) is a reminder of what we ought to be doing as a way of life – imparting knowledge in people that accelerates their journey to Financial Freedom.
The 2024 FLW was observed on Monday, 18th March, 2024 in Lusaka at the Cosmopolitan Mall.
Following the launch, we held various activities across our branch network that saw our staff engage with learners on and off site our premises. During these interactions, staff held sessions with the learners teaching them about Money - how to grow and manage it as well as how to invest it for the long term.
At IBP we believe that disseminating Money Management information is a way of life. To this effect, we have made a deliberate and intentional decision to nurture the relationships that we have created with the various schools for continued learning and sustained protection of money and securing of the future. At IBP, this is how we have chosen to live the theme ‘’Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future’’!.
We spotlight Kafue Branch staff at Cosmopolitan Maill in Lusaka who interacted with learners from 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗶. Seeing such warm faces of the learners beam with joy following there visit to the branch is confirmation enough that we are doing something right!
