BREAKING OUT OF THE BOX!!!!!π€ΈββοΈπ€ΈββοΈ
π€ Have you ever noticed how we love to give stereotypes? The educated, the fat, (ba kuma yadi, ba sum of usπ€£)!!! I suppose we want to assign classes or categories to objects (and people π€¦ββοΈ!!!!) in an attempt to measure them well. After all, there's a saying in the business world that what can be measured can be managed right?!
πThe challenge is that items must remain in their assigned position for them to be measured properly (ndiye probulemuπ!)but then living things don't usually do that because well..they are aliveπ€¦ββοΈ!! (They have an inbuilt tendency to grow and growth in itself causes movement!)
π I've had my fair share of stereotypes for example, when going for a field assignment, a colleague expects me to burst into prayer the moment I enter a pool vehicle because I'm a pastor's wife π€ππ!
π Don't let me get started on the priceless shocked faces when I kick off my heels and join in the cooking of 'the big pot 'at a funeral in a high density area π€ͺ, or when I rock up at the mall in my ripped jeans (modest of courseπ€¦ββοΈπ!)
π£ My advice was and still is , allow me to break out of the box you're attempting to put me in , so that you can experience the total package of who I am and the journey God has brought me along on. That way you will enjoy what I am bringing to the table π€.
πMy goal in life is to become the best version of myself that I can ever be and to help others to do the same. (That I may lay hold of that for which christ also laid hold of me! Phillipians 3:12 paraphrased). In a nutshell, this is what this page is about
π€. You may read posts from my banking and financial services career spanning over 16years, or marriage and relationships (been married for 15 years this June by God's grace) etc.
