We were pleased to host today’s KlaptonRe underwriting session, “Secondary Perils – The New Primary”, bringing together both in-person and virtual participants for an engaging and insightful discussion on the evolving risk landscape.

The session highlighted a key shift in thinking from traditional peak-peril focus to today’s reality, where floods, hailstorms, wildfires, and severe convective storms are driving recurring billion-dollar losses, reinforcing a clear direction for the market: the growing need for stronger analytical capability, structured solutions, and long-term risk partnerships.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversations, interactive polling, and case discussions. Sessions like these continue to reinforce the importance of collaboration, technical excellence, and staying ahead of emerging underwriting trends.

Special appreciation to our speakers and team for delivering valuable insights and making the session a success.

At KlaptonRe, we remain committed to driving thought leadership and strengthening underwriting expertise across the market.
