CHAWAMA RESIDENTS THE ONLY NTONSHI CONCERNED CITIZENS IN ZAMBIA- Salangeti

The statement by Salangeti that the people of Chawama are the only Ntonshi citizens in this country is first of all alarming and demeaning to the many well educated and calibre people of Chawama.

Salangeti, reducing the chawama residents to only ULUTOSHI is an insult to the many residents of chawama who feel the need to be aware of the political and economic fundamentals that have pierced this country for so long.

It is unwise for Salangeti to group the people of Misisi to only Ntonshi without considering the contributions these people make to the country. In chawama, there are Judges, nurses, doctors, economists, lawyers, engineers. In chawama there are teachers, politicians and even prophets and Apostles and other professionals like business men who wants to make economic decisions to their business as outlined in the performance of the economy. Therefore, reducing these people to only ULUTOSHI is simply an insult of the highest order.

Salangeti must immediately apologise.

Zambia University College of Technology seems to be the only University in Zambia that seems to understand the current and future education skills in Zambia.

Government must spot this potential and help this university to become a model of excellence in education for the entire country. Many of our universities are flops. They continue offering courses or programs that do not initiate development but wait for another program for it to function. This trend has continued in the education sector resulting in crowding out career prospects because almost everyone in this country has similar courses.

Government must pay more attention to this university. It seems we can do more with this university so that all other universities learn from it.

Appeal to President Hichilema- A concern on New VXs.

Mr president sell the old vehicles and allow the new ones to help the government officials be motivated to perform to their level best. In case they fail to deliver they will not lie that vehicles were in bad state to guarantee their successful movements.

Let us govern this country without any room for accusations. Ba Patrick Kangwa, advise the president on the correct step to take. Sh*tisheni old vehicles and recover some monies instead of having 2 vehicles. The president must not be forced to please anyone in his governance.

CV's and its Negative Impact on UPND's Performance.

It only costs about $25 at most to have a well polished CV from the best CV drafters that include institutions from the UK and USA that is seeing many being appointed by the UPND in senior government positions. Immediately, that CV reaches Cabinet everyone thinks they have the person they were looking for.

Well, it is clear from every side if you examine on a neutral ground that UPND is suffering from the Private sector mindset of considering potential based on Curriculum Vitae. This is very serious, things are not moving at the pace we expect.

But one wonders, how CVs can deliver a political mandate. Civil service has simply no standardized core values to stick on. Every government that comes in bring its own core values as driven by the Party Manifesto. That manifesto sets the core values for the civil service in that particular term of governance. Now, imagine you get this person who has simply no idea on what the political party is interested to see in the civil service. This is why we are seeing appointments of all sorts being made. Some ministries having a lot of changes but no results.The problem nima CV bane.

The reasons are that you are appointing people who simply have no idea why they have been appointed. There is a difference a job offer in the private sector and a political appointment. Civil service have already been trained on how they work using public resources, all they need are captains and prefects to inform them on the core values as guided by the new political party in power for a period of 5 years. To work with such type of a Public Human Resource you don't need CV's but people who are capable to drive the agenda of the Political Party in Power.

Why is that the agenda under the UPND is visionary but the pace at which the professionals with powerful CVs are conducting their duties is very shocking. At times, people feel we have acting persons in government positions. Indecisions every where. Why?

Let us wake up or maybe the waking up call is now boring, let us say, let us wash our faces quickly. CVs bane has kept misleading this government. If the trend is kept, I am sorry we will have disaster in delivering our promises.

UPND is a Reactive government but being used by God to deliver on its promises through challenges.

When God has a mandate or Vision over a Nation he surely does it in His own way. It is the leadership choice on whether to maintain their attitude.

It is very clear that the New dawn government isn't a government that initiates completely to enable itself deliver. These are lazy, lack speed on service delivery and are more of private entities than public. But God works in mysterious ways in order to make even the most slow moving Appointed by God leaders to suitably look into the needs of the people who put them in power. God is concerned over this nation like never before.

(a). Power shortage.
We had various challenges in the power sector from the PF days which in fact was one of the many reasons we saw PF being kicked out in an embarrassing and emotional disciplinary way. Yet, when the new dawn government came into power, we had almost little to know immediate actions being taken until God made it clear that He needed to open their eyes. God surely opens the Eyes of the blind. We saw from there quick measures being taken. We saw also investment pledges being made by the private sector and bilateral nations. This could not have happened if we had no challenges with electricity supply.
Just imagine if we had power outages like it used to be and then you have mealie meal pressure. It could have been catastrophe. God works for sure, if you are a chosen vessel despite your attitude and thought issues. Zambia could be power suppliers in the entire region if all investment pledges are committed. This is the working of God.

(b). Exchange rates.
It is also among the major reasons that saw PF packing in a very shameful way despite declaring themselves of handing power to self. In fact, plans of Hosana celebration at the Heroes stadium formally called Gabon Disaster stadium by our very own one Mr. Kambwili where in full gear. Up to now, zambians and their supporters do not understand whether these winning proclamations lyali lyashi lyamubowa or kachasu. When the UPND came into power we saw a relief on our currency performance that many civil servants felt the need to do away with Vits, nissan trail and all sorts of unwanted Japanese vehicles. However, due to lack of innovative ways of managing the public sector, that confidence was lost. They kept pumping money (dollars) into circulation but nothing happened because of the main factors like debt repayment and Time recognition lags. Life started becoming unbearable and the ability to fulfil political promises started fading away such that if it wasn't for the committed supporters to the vision who went on rampage stepping on any thought the opposition used, the story could be different today. We started pointing to the government to stop completely looking into the debt restructuring as the only source but look inside. Currently we are seeing some positive play or posts on the exchange rate and we hope for the best even without debt restructuring. God is surely in charge.

(c). Mealie meal saga.
It was also one of the failures of the PF government that proved that you don't need mazembe to remove you from power. Up to now, the Alebwelelapo president is still renting in Ibex. One wonders or amazed on the power of casting a vote. Upnd knew the challenges of mealie meal prices but paid a luke warm thought to it until the mess escalated and became a lining up situation. It is just now we have seen collective measures being taken. This is God at work in order for the New dawn government to deliver its promises to the voters. What this does is that millers will start now hunting for demand. In the past we saw consumers hunting for supply. The measures will make millers to tart reducing price in order to compete on the market if not, you close your plant and pay the costs heavily.
This will now see prices of mealie meal falling to unthinkable levels making the New dawn government deliver their promises to the electorates of cheaper mealie meal. This is God at work using a lazy government to deliver on its Godly mandate.

The way forward is to make choices on whether you the leaders will be reactive or take initiate drastic changes without waiting for the challenge. But as the saying goes, uwakalema Takaleka until someone slaps him, in this Case God himself conducting a slapping line up.

Tanzania. Comparative administration must be well thought. For Countries to develop especially those in Sub saharan Africa we need macro and mega projects set in motion on time. There is no way we should be debating about the Lusaka- Ndola dual carriage way that is only about 400km when our neighbours are undertaking projects that are in thousands.

Let us be visionary as a country. Development does not come anyhow. Tafimbwa ngameno yamukanwa, we need to remove these micro developmental mentalities.
