Tomatoes must be sown in nursery beds. Sow the seeds in rows, leaving 10 cm be-tween rows. Irrigate twice a day. If you make a shelter for them, they will be protected from the sun. When the seedlings have come up and begun to grow, remove surplus or weak seedlings, so that the plants grow well. At this stage, attacks may be bacterial and viral diseases which are normally managed by controlled water supply.
